- Shock your spa (Enhanced Shock or Non-chlorine oxidizer)
- Clean your spa filters with filter cleaner
- Wipe down and sanitize your spa cover thoroughly
NOTE: There are various types of algae that can grow in your spa (green, yellow, white, and black) and they are not harmful to you. They are however gross feeling and unpleasant to sit in.
