How to Remove the Pressure Switch Plug in the 73994-BYP Heater Hot Spot and Solana

Welcome to Backyardplus! In this post, we show you how to remove the plastic pressure switch plug in the 72994-BYP heater. Before we get started, let’s go over the tools and parts you will need.

Tools you will need:

  • Flat head screwdriver
  • Hammer

Parts you will need:

  • 73994-BYP heater

Step 1. Turn the plug counterclockwise with the flat head screwdriver.

Step 1. Unscrew the plug-

Step 2. If the plug will not turn, hammer the screwdriver into the plug and turn the plug counterclockwise.

Step 2. hammer it-

Step 3. If the plug fails to loosen, hammer the screwdriver deeper into the plug.

Step 4. Turn the plug counterclockwise and remove it from the heater.
