Welcome to Backyardplus! In this post, we show you how to wire the 71699-BYP jet pump for 115 volts. This pump comes wired for 230 volts. If you have a convertible spa, you will need to wire the pump for 115 volts. Before we get started, lets go over the tools you will need.
Tools you will need:
- 6mm driver
- Needle nose pliers
Step 1. Loosen the two cover screws with a 6mm driver.
Step 2. The pump comes pre-wired for 230 volts.
Step 3. To wire the pump for 115 volts move the blue wire at terminal 2 to terminal 1.
Step 4. Move the brown wire in the empty pocket to terminal 2.
The pump is now wired for 115 volts!
