This nut is used to secure the circuit board to the back of the control panel bezel on Tiger River spas from 1992-1997. It replaces a small spring clamp that used to do the same job. The posts that the nut screws on to are actually plastic and are not originally threaded since a spring clamp was originally used. But when you screw the nut onto the plastic posts, it will create threads in the soft plastic and secure the circuit board in place.
