Hi-Limit, Heater, 150 degree, Hot Spring

Sku: 30209

OBSOLETE:
This Heater Hi-Limit (red “heater reset” button) is designed to kill power to the heater if the core temperature exceeds 150 deg.

The probe of this high-limit is inserted into the end of the heater element and surrounded with plumbers putty to prevent it from detecting air temperature within the equipment compartment. This part is found on the Hot Spring Classic model A, B, C, the 1989-1994 Classic model F, 1987-1994 Grandee, 1985-1994 Home Spa/Prodigy, 1984-1994 IO/Sovereign, 1985-1994 Jetsetter and the 1989-1994 Highlife spa models. The length of the lead including the capillary is approx. 28″ and probe size is 3/16″.

Notes: A tripped heater hi-limit deactivates power to the heater and must be manually reset. It typically trips off if the water flowing through the heater is moving too slowly or not at all.
