After troubleshooting my problem with Craig, who was quite knowledgeable, helpful and exhibited patience with this newbie, I purchased the heater. I followed the very informative video for the install, but alas it wasn't working. I have dealt with backyardplus for several years and have always been thrilled with their customer service. Well, the service on my previous order was just spectacular. Fedex said they had delivered it and were annoying non-responsive to my attempts to tell them the product hadn't been delivered. I have called Backyard Plus for my Hot Springs Pulse spa multiple times over the years. You guys are helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. I have had excellent experiences with both Oscar and Craig. This past June I had an emergency situation where I had family arriving from out of town and three days before one of the jet motors died (timing is everything). I immediately called BP and worked with Oscar. He understood the challenge and urgency. He got the motor ordered, shipped and delivered next day. I would like to express how excellent this company is. I inherited a house with a 2007 Hotspring Aria hot tub. The spa hasn’t been operated in years and when I turned it on, it ran for about 10 minutes and died. I mean dead died. I knew absolutely nothing about hot tubs but with the excellent diagnosis videos, installation videos and superior phone support, I was able to replace the main control board, heater relay board, heater, circulation pump, the ozonator and all associated tubing. This took 4 1/2 hours over two days (I had to watch videos) but the spa runs like new! I had one question regarding the jumper voltage 18 or 12. I spoke with a technician and he was able to answer my question as well as helping me double check the voltages for the components on the relay board.
