Open box items are items that have been returned to our warehouse and cannot be sold as brand new.
Items that are returned to us in less than perfect condition are considered open box and may include the following defects:
- Cosmetic scratches, wear, dents, etc.
- Items that were energized, but otherwise not defective and in good working order
This item is an OPENBOX. Used, but tested.
This is the Hawk control box made for most Hot Spot brand spas built in the 3rd quarter of 2012, and all Hot Spot models beginning in 2013. It houses the electronics that interface the spa controls with all the individual components of the spa. If you are unsure if this is the correct control box for your spa, please call our technicians. This control box is not backward compatible with older spa control panels. Software update and configuration are required when replacing this control box. The software version used is dependent upon your model; therefore, a serial number is required to identify the correct software. If you would like us to flash the box with the software needed for your hot tub, please choose that option. If you are purchasing the control head as well, we can program that for you, after the software is flashed, at no additional charge.
