There are two control boxes that will not work unless the correct software is uploaded via USB to the control box unit. Item 76836 (Eagle Control Box) and item 76840 (Hawk Control Box). Each tub needs its own specific software uploaded to it in order for the box to work when you install it on your hot tub. When you buy this service from us, we will upload the correct software according to the serial number provided and we will also program your hot tub’s control panel settings into the new control box you purchase from us so that installation is a breeze. After troubleshooting my problem with Craig, who was quite knowledgeable, helpful and exhibited patience with this newbie, I purchased the heater. I followed the very informative video for the install, but alas it wasn't working. I have dealt with backyardplus for several years and have always been thrilled with their customer service. Well, the service on my previous order was just spectacular. Fedex said they had delivered it and were annoying non-responsive to my attempts to tell them the product hadn't been delivered. I have called Backyard Plus for my Hot Springs Pulse spa multiple times over the years. You guys are helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. I have had excellent experiences with both Oscar and Craig. This past June I had an emergency situation where I had family arriving from out of town and three days before one of the jet motors died (timing is everything). I immediately called BP and worked with Oscar. He understood the challenge and urgency. He got the motor ordered, shipped and delivered next day.
