My spa was giving me problems and was giving red flashing power light. I called Backyard Plus and has the pleasure of taking with Oscar. He is extremely knowledgeable and rather than just trying to sell me new parts he told me things to check and how to do them. After trying everything, I contacted him again and ordered a new board and controller. The installation was pretty straightforward, but I had a question even after reviewing their instructional video. Oscar got right back to me and I was able to complete the installation. Initially, it started up , which it hadn’t. Then the power light flashed again. Oscar then gave me a couple of things to try and we determined that my heater (which was 18 years old) was overheating, so I replaced that as well. I am elated, my 19 year old spa now runs like new and the cost was considerably less than I had a technician come out, I know because I had one out last fall and my problem was not resolved.
