This heater receptacle mounts in the control box on Hot Spring models from 1989-1996. It was used on the pre-1997 120volt Hot Spring models and also for pre-1995 230volt Hot Spring models that have the 31409 twin heater elements. Over the years, this receptacle can fatigue and overheat requiring replacement.
