Air Check Valve, Hot Spring Grandee

This one-way check valve was used in the Hot Spring Grandee from 1989-1993 for the Jet Stream Jet air intake. All jets in a Hot Spring have both an air and water mixture. If someone put their finger in a jet nozzle and restricted the water flow, water could then backflow through the air lines and pour into the equipment compartment. This could short out equipment and/or siphon out the entire spa.  This check valve is located inside the equipment compartment, up high under the bar top. Replace if it’s old and cracked or if it has been leaking. There are two of these check valves in the Grandee, one for each Jet Stream Jet.
