This compression fitting (aka pump union, quick disconnect, coupling) is used on the discharge side of the Tiger River Wavemaster Pumps to ensure that the small Silentflo 5000 or 5002 circulation pump pulls water through the filter when the jet pump is off. The red-colored umbrella check valve can be purchased separately (part 34416).
