This is a generic cord that can be used for connecting low amperage components such as the circulation pump to the IQ2000 and IQ2020 control boxes. It is 5 feet long and 17 gauge wire. It shouldn’t be used on any components that have a high amperage draw like a jet pump or heater.

I followed the very informative video for the install, but alas it wasn't working. I have called Backyard Plus for my Hot Springs Pulse spa multiple times over the years. You guys are helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. I have had excellent experiences with both Oscar and Craig. This past June I had an emergency situation where I had family arriving from out of town and three days before one of the jet motors died (timing is everything). I immediately called BP and worked with Oscar. He understood the challenge and urgency. He got the motor ordered, shipped and delivered next day. I would like to express how excellent this company is. I inherited a house with a 2007 Hotspring Aria hot tub. The spa hasn’t been operated in years and when I turned it on, it ran for about 10 minutes and died. I mean dead died. I knew absolutely nothing about hot tubs but with the excellent diagnosis videos, installation videos and superior phone support, I was able to replace the main control board, heater relay board, heater, circulation pump, the ozonator and all associated tubing. This took 4 1/2 hours over two days (I had to watch videos) but the spa runs like new! I had one question regarding the jumper voltage 18 or 12. I spoke with a technician and he was able to answer my question as well as helping me double check the voltages for the components on the relay board.
