Description
This modified 4-position Smart Jet Diverter Valve (12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions) is located under the SmartJet lever on the top lip of the spa. Its purpose is to divert water to different jet combination’s when you rotate the SmartJet lever, but in a quieter fashion, than the original 71495 Smart Jet valve. Replacement is necessary only if the original 71495 was noisy due to excess vibration in some models of Hot Spring & Tiger River spa models or that a newly installed Moto-Massage replacement still won’t travel up and down. Easy to do and works great. The lever to turn it is no longer made it had a crack where it counts in outside of center and support webbing. I held it where it goes with small vice grips the cracked part and used JB weld filling the voids in webbing and the cracks. after a day and half sanded, cleaned up and fit perfect saving money on a 25 year old classic”.
