This is the IQ 2020 spa control system also called “Hawk control box” made for most Hot Spot brand spas built in the 3rd quarter of 2012, and all Hot Spot models beginning in 2013. It houses the electronics and circuitry that interface the spa controls with all the individual components of the spa. If you are unsure if this is the correct control box for your spa, please call our technicians. This control box is not backward compatible with older spa control panels (Invensys circuitry). A spa-specific software update and configuration (similar to pairing a remote control to a television) are required when replacing this control box. The software version used is dependent upon your hot tub model; therefore, a serial number is required to identify the correct software.

Backyardplus is a fantastic place to order your spa parts! The website is extremely easy to navigate and with your spa serial number entered, you know which parts are the correct fit for your spa. my order was processed very quickly, and I received my parts right away. With the help of the supplied directions and your videos, the installation of the new control box, control panel, heater , thermister and pressure switch were all easily completed! I did need to reach out with a question that I sent via email, and I received a response back in 14 minutes! I was absolutely amazed at how quickly I received my response! I am very satisfied

I am very satisfied with the order process. The counseling to get the right parts was over and above and the timing of shipping to me could not have been better . I have yet to install the parts I ordered; I don’t intend to do that until weather improves. I have no doubt that BackyardPlus will be there if I need more help.
