Description
This is the IQ 2020 spa control system also called “Hawk control box” made for most Hot Spot brand spas built in the 3rd quarter of 2012, and all Hot Spot models beginning in 2013.
It houses the electronics and circuitry that interface the spa controls with all the individual components of the spa. If you are unsure if this is the correct control box for your spa, please call our technicians.
This control box is not backward compatible with older spa control panels (Invensys circuitry). A spa-specific software update and configuration (similar to pairing a remote control to a television) are required when replacing this control box.
The software version used is dependent upon your hot tub model; therefore, a serial number is required to identify the correct software.
