This on/off valve is used on Hotsprings spas to turn on and off the Soothing Stream water feature, which runs off the 24-hour circulation pump. If the valve fails to shut off the water supply, remove the black internal section from the valve body, and inspect the rubber pad around the outside edge of the valve. If this has deteriorated, replace the valve. Replace if the valve stem is broken or the valve no longer turns.
