In this post, we walk you through software update for the 76836 (Eagle box) and how to set the soft jumpers with the 78191 control panel.

Step 1. Disconnect power from the spa.
Step 2. Make sure the Limit Therm and Reg Therm sensors are both plugged into the motherboard.
Step 3. Locate the USB port. Plug the flash drive with the ED1.02 software into the USB port.
Step 4. Reconnect power to the spa.
The green Power On light will blink rapidly while the software is uploading. When the software is almost finished uploading, you will hear two clicks and the green Power On light will turn solid for 5-10 seconds. After the software upload is complete, the green Power On light will resume blinking again.
Step 5. Verify the correct software version on the screen.
Wait for the home screen to appear on the control panel.
Step 6: Locate the Setup (SW1) button on the motherboard. Hold the button down for 2-3 seconds to access service mode.
Step 7. In Service Mode Press Next until Configuration is highlighted. Then press SELECT to enter configuration mode. Then press NEXT.
Step 8. Find your spa on the control box configuration instructions.
Step 9. Set the soft (software) jumpers.
Step 10. Disconnect power from the spa.
Step 11. Remove the flash drive from the USB port.
Step 12. Reconnect power to the spa.
