What’s Included: Pump, two compression fittings with o-rings. **NO VENT SHROUD**
Specs: 230v./60hz 2 speeds and 2.0 HP (operational horsepower), 48 Frame, 10.5/2.6amp, 2″ intake/discharge and includes a power cord (not pictured).
Vent Shroud: Per the manufacturer, this pump is designed to be air-cooled and does not need a shroud. You may, however, use your existing shroud.
Description: This two-horsepower, two-speed, 230volt pump was used on the third quarter 2003-2009 Hot Spot Mallorca. This pump also replaces the discontinued 1HP/2spd pump used in the first and second quarter of 2003 Mallorca tubs. This after-market pump has no capacitors on top of the pump and will fit without any modification.
A note about the OEM pump: The OEM pump 72991 usually arrives at our warehouse as an LX brand and is a 48 frame pump with two capacitors. Sometimes this bulkiness causes issues upon installation and so we have sourced the 72991FM-BYP version (one capacitor) as well as the 72991-AM-BYP (no capacitors) to help solve the space issue.

If you can’t determine the dots on your impeller, buy the entire wet-end kit. The installation time is about the same.
