What’s Included: Pump, two compression fittings with o-rings. **NO VENT SHROUD**
Specs: 230v./60hz 2 speeds and 1.5 HP (operational horsepower), 48 Frame, 6.8/2.5amp, 2″ intake/discharge. Also included are two compression fittings with o-rings and a power cord (not pictured).
Vent Shroud: Per the manufacturer, this pump is designed to be air-cooled and does not need a shroud. You may, however, use your existing shroud.
Description: This after-market 1.5 horsepower, 2-speed, 230volt pump was used in the third quarter 2003-2009 Hot Spot Mallorca, and select years for the Hot Spot Relay, Rhythm, and Sprint models. This is one of the two pumps that drive these spas. The second is the 72992 single-speed pump.
A note about the OEM pump: The OEM pump 72991 usually arrives at our warehouse as an LX brand and is a 48 frame pump with two capacitors. Sometimes this bulkiness causes issues upon installation and so we have sourced the 72991FM-BYP version (one capacitor) as well as the 72991-AM-BYP (no capacitors) to help solve the space issue.

If you can’t determine the dots on your impeller, buy the entire wet-end kit. The installation time is about the same.
