What’s included: Wireless Remote and USB Flash Drive with 4.XX software (for Control Box update)
Replacement Wireless Remote version 4.XX. Wireless Remote, Dock (78509) and Control box must all have the same platform code (software), ( i.e V4.XX), these are not interchangeable with previous versions.
Note 1: Because the wireless remote and docking station are installed as a pair and often fail at the same time, it is recommended to replace the dock (78509) when replacing the wireless remote.
Note 2:Â When buying the wireless remote only, if your spa was made prior to 2019, you will need to install the V4.XX Software for your Eagle Control Box and Docking Station. The software for the Control Box, Docking Station, and Remote, need to match, otherwise the remote will not sync with the docking station. For more information on how to install the software for your spa, contact our Backyard Plus Technical Support Team.
Note 3:Â If your spa circuit board is a “REVISION A” you cannot update the dock software through the motherboard. You will need to purchase a new dock along with the remote.
