Description
This is the complete “Wet End” of the Vico Ultimax version of the Watkins Wavemaster 7000 jet pump. This wet end is 1.5 horsepower and the factory original jet pump is 1.65 horsepower. The factory no longer sells Vico replacement parts so the alternative is a new jet pump.
An indicator that your Watkins Wavemaster jet pump was made by Vico is the model number will end in “-01” OR it will have a “V” marked near the discharge of the wet end with model number 36675 with no “-01”. To verify for sure, please call 805-541-9000 or text us photos of your pump’s labels or stickers.
What’s Included: Volute, volute cover, volute o-ring, volute stainless steel screws, impeller, and the shaft seal.
Description: This is the complete “wet end” of the Vico/Balboa Water Group jet pump. Your pump is comprised of two main components: the electric motor and the “wet end”. In some cases, this entire “wet end kit” is needed. Perfect remedy if your “wet end” has cracked due to a severe freeze.
Installation: All “wet end kits” come pre-assembled from the factory. To install this kit you’ll disassemble it, then re-assemble it one piece at a time onto your existing pump motor. Typical assembly time is two hours for the non-service tech. After connecting the pump unions (compression fittings) the pump may not align with the holes that anchor the pump to the floor of the equipment compartment. You may need to re-anchor using no longer than 1″ lag bolts. When pre-drilling for those bolts, do not pre-drill more than 1/4″ into the floor of the equipment compartment or you may drill into plumbing lines. Some models may require minor plumbing modifications to connect to the new wet end.
