Description: The Watkins Wavemaster 7000 jet pump is a 1.65 horsepower single-speed jet pump. It is pre-wired for 120volt and is the third version of the Watkins Wavemaster 7000. The original style was used on the Hot Spring brand 1997-1999 Classic, beginning in 1997, Grandee (needs 220v. version), Sovereign and Prodigy, and Jetsetter, 1998-2003 Landmark (needs 220volt version) and Vanguard HP beginning in 2001 (needs 220volt version). This pump is also the replacement for the Tiger River 1997-2004 Bengal, Sumatran and 2000-2002 Siberian spa models (needs 220v. version).
Wiring: This pump is pre-configured from the factory to run on 120 volts. If your spa “Needs 220v. version” then make sure to adjust the wires on the rear of this pump for your 220-volt application or easier yet, order select the “wire for 220v” option before adding to your cart and we will do it for you.
**Note: Watkins Manufacturing uses different vendors for their pumps. The pump vendor they have been using lately for this model is using a motor with two capacitors. The capacitors MAY cause a fit issue and you MAY need to do plumbing modifications. If this is a problem with the space in your equipment compartment, consider using 1.5HP after-market pumps:
72201-AM-BYP (115v and select “wire for 1 speed” option) or;
72991FM-BYP (230v and select “wire for 1 speed”)

How do I know if this pump is too bulky?: If your existing pump model number is 36675-03 (vendor code 3536), this is a direct fit and you don’t need to contact us for other options. If your existing pump model number other than that, you need to contact us for other options.
Installation: Some models may require minor plumbing modifications to connect to the new wet end. The factory used many vendors for the wet end side of this Jet Pump, and as a result, this Jet Pump may not be an exact fit in some tubs. This replacement also has two start capacitors on the motor housing, whereas previous versions may have only had one. Exact/Direct replacement is not guaranteed with this specific jet pump. Please call our technicians with any questions.
